Kladdkaka is a typical Swedish dessert and November 7 is its day in the country. It is a kind of sticky chocolate cake, similar to a brownie, since yeast is not used in its preparation.
The main ingredients of the recipe are: butter, sugar, eggs, flour and cocoa powder. It is prepared by melting butter in a pan over low heat. Then add the other ingredients and mix well. The result is poured into a mold with butter and baked in the oven for approximately 25 minutes at 180ºC.
Once cold, sprinkle with icing sugar and serve in portions. Kladdkaka has a strong, intense chocolate flavor and in some areas of the country it is often served with vanilla ice cream.
