Main ingredients:

Fårikål is a typical Norwegian dish that consists of a stew of lamb and cabbage, accompanied by potatoes, onion and sometimes some beer. It is certainly one of the most popular norwegian recipes and it is traditionally prepared during the autumn and which has its own day: the last Thursday of the month of September.

The traditional recipe only has four ingredients: lamb, cabbage, salt and black pepper, although new ingredients such as carrots, onion or beer have now been added!

The dish is usually served with boiled potatoes and freshly baked white rolls, called in Norway, flatbrød.
