Buffalo wings, also known as buffalo wings, are a typical dish of American cuisine that has become popular throughout the world. It is a dish that is characterized by its spicy and crunchy flavor and is served as an appetizer or main course in fast food restaurants.

The origin of buffalo wings dates back to the city of Buffalo, in the state of New York, where they were created by chance in a restaurant called Anchor Bar. According to the story, the owner of the restaurant, Teressa Bellissimo, decided to prepare some fried chicken wings to feed her son and his friends who were hungry after a night out. To give it a special touch (and who knows if to wake them up) he bathed them in a spicy sauce of his invention made with butter, chili sauce and vinegar. The success of the wings was immediate and they soon became the star dish of the restaurant, becoming popular throughout the country ever since.

To prepare the buffalo wings, the thighs and wings of the chicken are used. They are seasoned with salt, pepper and garlic powder and then deep-fried in hot oil until golden brown and crisp. Later, they are bathed in a spicy sauce of butter, vinegar and chili, and are served with celery and a blue cheese sauce.
